Every year about this time I get nostalgic for my favorite Wrestlemania moments. I don’t watch anymore for several reasons I won’t go into, but I do watch the classics as you can probably tell on my site.

This was the first Wrestlemania I ever watched. I asked my mom to rent it for me when I was maybe 8 years old, and was obsessed with wrestling already. Naturally, Hulk Hogan was my favorite wrestler, and I would watch wrestling beginning at 11am on Saturday all the way until 1am Sunday.

This was the first “spectacle” I was able to watch though. 20 man battle royal, Rowdy Roddy Piper vs Mr T. in a boxing match, and of course, Hulk Hogan got his hands on that no good King Kong Bundy in the blue bar steel cage. Looking back, it was far from the best Mania in history, but you know what? It was my first so I don’t care.
