For almost 25 years, I sold movies on marketplaces like eBay, Mercari, Amazon, and Bonanza. I did quite well too, in fact. Even was able to do it as a full time income for a couple years. However, you know what they say, nothing lasts forever. I have mostly closed down all sales online this year. I had a great run, but it just stopped being worthwhile.
While the business may be gone, the movies live on forever. I am a big believer in preserving physical media. So yes, I know we all watch movies digitally now. There’s Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Peacock, and all those wonderful streaming apps that we doomscroll for 2 hours looking for a movie on before we say screw it and go to bed. I also have about 1200 movies on Fandango at Home. That’s all good and well, but I still have thousands of physical DVD’s and blu-rays ready to watch. Call me old fashioned (or just OLD) but I won’t be bored when the internet goes out. There is more about my commitment to physical media at the bottom of the page.
Anyway, lets move onto my favorites. If you click these links, you will be directed to Amazon, which will help support my work if you buy there. If not, that’s ok. Only if you see something you like.
